Mona Lisa Overdrive

posted Jan 22, 2011, 12:42 PM by Nummer Eins   [ updated Mar 14, 2013, 2:44 PM ]

The latter part of the '80s and part of the '90s saw a lot of action in an emerging new genre of literature called CyberPunk. This seemed to go along with the emergence of New Age music, movies such as Blade Runner and Johnny Mnemonic, TV series such as Max Headroom.
The Roboter track called "Mona Lisa Overdrive" is inspired by the works of author William Gibson. From Wikipedia: "Mona Lisa Overdrive is a cyberpunk novel by William Gibson published in 1988 and the final novel of the Sprawl trilogy, following Neuromancer and Count Zero"

Work on "Global Warming" EP

posted Jul 26, 2010, 10:26 AM by Nummer Eins   [ updated Jul 26, 2010, 4:43 PM ]

Work is moving along at a good pace towards our inital release, tentatively called "Global Warming". Of course the title does have this important issue which affects Earth's climate.
But there is also a double meaning: Just like a "house warming" this will be the same four our music - which is our house.

We have been receiving good reviews on our pre-release tracks:
  • Global Warming
  • Trans-Europa InfoBahn
  • Red Planet
You can listen to all of these at these sites:

It's been a fun ride up to date, with and ideas and music flowing like lava (hot!!)

Please join our fanlist and share your comments with us!

Warmest Regards,
